The Fabulous Thunderbirds Arlington reviews
That's why he's "The Boss"!
At The Palace, Springsteen rocked the stage with high energy, performing the entire "Born To Run" album along with other hits for close to three hours. On the floor behind the early arrival "stage huggers", I witnessed The Fabulous Thunderbirds working their way through the audience. They jumped on a small platform about 6 feet away from me, stayed there for half of the song, and then body surfed back to the stage. The entire band joined them on stage for the last song of the night, showcasing Springsteen's ability to engage the audience. Despite a mix-up in location (greeting the Michigan audience with "Hello Ohio!"), Springsteen made up for it by delivering multiple Michigan related songs like "Rambling Gambling Man" and the "Detroit Medley". The crowd enthusiastically embraced his performance, solidifying him as a great performer and the band as a fantastic group. Overall, it was an amazing concert experience.
